I’m a whole experience
A whole vibe
A whole energy
I move with a natural sweetness that can be bottled and sold for one hell of a pretty penny
I breath life into words
Poetry lives in me to survive
I am poetry babe
I embody a greatness that is years before my time
I possess a Sweetest Taboo side and Notorious Thugs side
I bleed Detroit blood with appreciation and respect for the little black girl in me that was marked a failure before I was even born
The passion in my writings can’t be denied Though folks try to deny me still
At the lowest version of myself I am steel...an undeniable Force
I can step in and out of worlds I create , destroy Them
Rebuild them and add shelters for tears of those temporaryly loss who just need a place to grow from the pain or hide
My love making births Spirited hearts with intensely ardent personalities
And ties to my truly beautiful Aries mentality
I can seduce and heal a room full of people with my words
I’m the type of woman that will leave a substantial lifetime impression on your soul
And can heal the brokenness in your heart and make it whole again
My anger controls the level of fury when it thunders
I’m the calm before the storm and the storm itself
I make people crave orgasms and love without having to choose between the two I bring about a certain peace that can only be found within the flow of my pen and the beat of my heart
I study the voids of those who used to give my life meaning
My heart use to shatter at the broken memories but now I rejoice in them with a smile
Their losses not mine
I’m often counted out , mistaken for a failure and looked over
I can create in chaos and in bliss
I’m the foundation that was once cracked broken and set to be demolished
But now I stand tall with no signs of damage
I am a black woman powerful and mighty
Today is my day
Today I’m appreciated and celebrated as a woman
Today I celebrate me & every woman like me
Don’t stop thriving women
My black women especially
Keep knocking down obstacles one step at a time
Smile and be proud of the woman you are.
